About the Author

     Cher`ryl Lawson, the granddaughter of the Reverends George and Katharine Henshaw, is a licensed minister with the Church of God (Cleveland, TN) and has been in ministry for over 20 years.  She was saved at the age of seven, and was baptized in the Holy Ghost and called to the ministry at age twelve.  Over the years, Cher`ryl has served in nearly every facet of the Church, including pastor, teacher, youth pastor, outreach coordinator, and chaplain.  She has an active pulpit ministry and has been a worship leader/psalmist for many years, and currently serves in this capacity at The Cross Church of God of Muskogee, Oklahoma under the leadership of Pastor Margaret Hatchett.  Cher`ryl is the mother of three children and three grandchildren, and she and her husband reside in Muskogee, Oklahoma.

 

How it Started---Divine Assignment

     On July 9, 2005, the Lord called me to a 50 Week assignment of intercession for those called to public ministry, namely the 5-fold ministry mentioned in Ephesians 4:11,12.  During that year, there were detailed journals kept, and out of those journals this book was born.
